Studio School starts and a 'Cat Walk' for Design Philadelphia

  Late Summer.... 
  Back to Studio School and Design Philly commences! 

These short n' sweet classes are tiny (only 2-3 students) to provide specialized instruction in & plenty of room for screen printing your designs on T-shirts, fabrics or any other flat-ish stuff desired. No previous art experience necessary. The studio just acquired 4 station T-shirt press!

"Street Cafe" collaboration @ the Philadelphia Free Library

Drawing inspiration from a truly vast collection of knowledge "Street Cafe" is a  
collaborative site-specific installation by multi-media artist Leroy Johnson & Candy CoatedCaptivatingly intricate sculptural street-scapes by Mr. Johnson conjure wall murals of patterned symbolic imagery culled by Candy from the Library's Prints and Pictures collection and will be on display in the Project HOME Cafe.

Presenting this fall's fashion collection collaboration with Lobo Mau during Design Philadelphia in partnership with the Philadelphia Art Alliance. Taking our eternal cat love 24/7 theme and walking with it literally, a fanciful trunk show will transform the historic park's promenade into a fashion runaway with fully made up, super cute feline models cat walking about in adorable looks. This is not to be missed!

The exhibitioncurated by Royce Epstein and Caroline Tiger, offers a window into Philadelphia's current design identity: features pieces by designers and brands based in and around Philadelphia, showcased in the familiar context of a lived-in loft. 

Oct. 10-20, Tues-Sat from 11am - 6pm at Minima Gallery, 118 North 3rd St.
Opening party on Fri. Oct. 12 and panel discussion 'Localism and Design' on Sat. Oct. 13
